Stress has been
attributed to health issues ranging from high blood pressure to
depression. Children’s stresses can be as simple as arriving at
school to find a substitute teacher for the day or as complex as
being exposed to a violent image or experience. Stress related
symptoms in children can include but are not limited to unusual
clingy behavior, sleep disturbances, physical complaints of
headaches and stomachaches and of course, rapid shallow
breathing.

Today's children
are stressed out and can obviously benefit from stress relief.
Millions of adults are seeking wellness, serenity, and
tranquility. Why not children? It is time to offer the children
the same tools adults are using to counteract stress and anger.
How different could your child’s life be if they knew how to
breathe slowly like the tortoise?

We have created both individual and group programs for children
based on meditation and relaxation techniques designed to
decrease stress and anxiety while increasing self-esteem and
self-awareness. Children become active participants in creating
their own healthy, heart driven, peaceful lives.
Our program creatively integrates stories, songs, movement,
artwork and visual aids. Children learn to apply the empowering
techniques of breathing, visualizations and affirmations to
their lives in a safe, fun and interactive environment.

I believe that
children have the ability to be an active participant in
creating their own healthy, peaceful lives. Children want to
feel calm and in control of their minds and bodies. Children
want to feel good!
