Philosophy and Comments~

As human beings, we sometimes condition ourselves to ignore our own needs. We may neglect doing things that we know are good for us, such as: proper exercise, healthy eating, or making uncomfortable decisions. Each of us is responsible for all of our experiences. Every thought we think is creating our future. When we really love ourselves, our lives work.

To accomplish this, we must release anger, resentment and blame from the past and forgive everyone. How we deal with the future depends on how well we deal with the past. We are responsible for the choices we make in life, and our choices are based upon our perceptions. If we have erroneous perceptions, we make misguided choices. I help my patients learn how they can change their erroneous perceptions into healthier ones, so they may make wiser choices.

I only accept in my practice patients who have the capacity to resolve their own problems with my assistance. I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding happiness and contentment in their lives.

My patients are in complete control and may end their therapy at any time. I will be supportive of that decision. Therapy is successful when they feel better equipped to face life’s challenges without my support or intervention.
